Personally, I couldn't bring myself to ask!   

There is nothing more uncomfortable than being diligently at work at the bench and hear the whip crack overhead. Quite un-nerving, gives me the shakes.

The sides are leveled, the end graft is in, the back bindings are bent, and the back channel is cut.

Yeah I have replaced a back strip after the box was together. It's not quite as comvenient that way.
